Location: Waconia, MN
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experience level
Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday. Flexible to start as early as 6am or as late as 9am - 8 hour shifts.

About this Opportunity:
Do you enjoy designing mechanical solutions and seeing your ideas come to life on the shop floor? This is a 30,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and processing facility in Waconia, MN, looking for a SolidWorks-capable CAD designer who loves turning concepts into real equipment. You’ll work on custom machinery, piping systems, process equipment, tooling, and process improvements. Your designs won’t sit in a binder, they’ll be built across the shop, tested, improved, and put to work.
What You’ll Be Doing:
•Create parts, assemblies, and drawings in SolidWorks
•Work with experienced mechanics and technicians to bring designs into reality
•Modify or improve existing equipment and 3D models
•Opportunity to assist with hands-on assembly, prototyping, or troubleshooting (optional but helpful)
•Support process improvements and plant projects
•Possibly run distillation trials on new materials
What makes you a great fit:
•At least a couple years’ experience using SolidWorks in a structured environment
•Mechanical aptitude; you think in 3D and understand how parts go together
•Curious, self-driven, and excited to learn
•High character and dependable work ethic
