About this Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sales Support Specialist to join the sales team for a company based in Plymouth, MN. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive support to the sales representatives, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring their clients receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills to help streamline sales operations and contribute to revenue growth.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

•Administrative assistance: Provide direct administrative and operational support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling expense reports.

•Order processing: Accurately and efficiently process customer orders, quotes, and sales contracts. Expedite requests and coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and finance, to ensure timely delivery and proper invoicing.

•Customer service: Act as a key point of contact for customer inquiries regarding product information, order status, and issue resolution.

•CRM management: Maintain and update customer and sales data in the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure accuracy and provide reliable reporting.

•Sales data and reporting: Assist in compiling and analyzing sales figures, metrics, and performance indicators to provide valuable reports to sales management.

•Lead management: Support the sales team by generating initial sales leads and performing market research to identify new opportunities.

•Cross-functional collaboration: Work with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies and provide effective sales materials and support.

•Record maintenance: Maintain an organized and accessible file system for all sales documents, correspondence, and client interactions.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)

•A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

•A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
