QA Auditor

Location: Coon Rapids

Pay Rate: $14.50 - $16.50/ hr

Shift: 3rd Shift 10:45 pm - 7:15 am Sunday - Thursday

JOB DESCRIPTION: Quality Inspection position responsibilities are to perform in-process inspection checks at start-up, shut-down and every 4 hours or as specified. Research questionable defects using last shot library, PIMM (Production Instruction Multi Media), MRBs, and RMA information.

Identify and Contain Defective Parts

Identify/toggle/move nonconforming parts into NC going back to the start of the issue

• Create MRBs for non-conformed parts that contains details on the issue

• Follow up on quality issues and ensure issues have been resolved if parts continue to run

• Enter rejects from Tally Sheet into production reporting in IQMS

• Coordinate sorts for the zone and verify they are being done correctly

Additional Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Stable work history

• Good attention to detail

• Prior use of hand help measuring tools such as: calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, go/no go gauges and height and depth gauges.

• Teamwork and communication with on and off shift auditors and supervisors

• Ability to work independently with little supervision

• Ability to read and understand work instruction and do basic math

• Basic keyboarding and computer skills

• Requires standing, repeated reaching and twisting, hand movement throughout entire shift.

• Mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read and understand blueprints

• Lifting and moving materials up to 30 lbs

• Requirements: be 18 years old.
