About this Opportunity:
The Quality Manager will maintain quality control objectives that align with corporate policies, goals, and monthly metrics. Coordinate and support these objectives with policies and procedures, in cooperation with plant and production management to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Ensure product compliance with plant quality systems and customer requirements.
Direct involvement with initial Developments, FAIRS, PPAPs and maintenance of associated product quality books.
Provide support for protocols, test methods and qualification criteria for new products.
Maintain SCAR and NCMR Logs that support timely customer resolution and quality metrics
Lead Quality Review Board in conjunction with production managers to determine root cause analysis, corrective action plans, and product disposition according to approval authority matrix.
Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications, to determine present capabilities and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
Establish relationships with major customer’s quality departments to facilitate a positive customer climate.
Lead, train and mentor the Quality staff to achieve company as well as personal goals.
Responsible for maintaining and improving the quality system in all facilities within the ISO framework
Cooperate and carry out any other additional duties required by company management not described above.
What makes you a great fit:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering or related field.
A combination of relevant experience and education will be considered.
Experience should be no less than 5 years in a progressively responsible position performing quality review functions.
ISO 9001:2008 experience is preferred.
Previous experience with the following quality equipment is preferable: Keyence Measurement System, Optical Comparator, Smart Scope, Profile 360, Calipers, and Color Meter.
Candidates must interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, blue print or schedule form and must possess the ability to think strategically with a high degree of planning and organizational skills.
Strong verbal, computer, and listening skills required with the ability to effectively work and interact with others.
