Location: Hopkins, Mn
Shift: 5:00 am – 3:30 pm, Tuesday - Friday
Pay: $20 - $21 (Depending on Experience)
Employment Type: Full time, trial to hire!

Atlas Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturer of expanded metal products serving industries such as automotive, filtration, and architecture.
We’re seeking individuals with experience in metal processing or a strong mechanical aptitude who are eager to grow with a reputable and fast-paced company.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Support the Lead Set-Up Technician with expander set-ups, die changes, equipment troubleshooting, daily line inspections, and lubrication (expander, flattener, leveler, etc.).

Ensure all parts, processes, and packaging meet customer specifications as outlined in work orders.

Assist with material handling, including arbor coil changes, moving finished skids, and coordinating material storage with the Material Handler.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to a smooth and efficient production flow.
What makes you a great fit:

High School diploma or GED
-
Metal shop and punch press experience
-
Knowledge and ability to set up and run all types of high-speed and/or general fab expanders and secondary equipment

Knowledge of material types and selection for the work order (kind and gauge of material)

Basic math and the ability to use a tape measure
-
Constantly standing, walking, and unassisted lifting to 40 lbs.
