Location: Hopkins, Mn
Shift: 5:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Pay: $20 - $21 (Depending on Experience)

Atlas Staffing has partnered with one of the top fabricators in the state, and we are looking for set-up technicians like you.
Our client is looking for work experience in metal processing or demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
What You’ll Be Doing: (Duties)

Assist the Lead Set-Up Technician with expander set-up and die changes, troubleshooting, completing daily line inspections, and lubricating equipment (expander, flattener, leveler, etc.).

Ensure customer’s specifications and requirements are met as documented on work orders (including part, processing, and packaging requirements)

Assist Lead Set-Up Technician with material movement and record keeping (Arbor coils, removal of finished skids from the line, coordinate with Material Handler on material storage)
What makes you a great fit: (Skills)

Forklift Certification

Knowledge and ability to set up and run all types of high-speed and/or general fab expanders and secondary equipment

Knowledge of material types and selection for the work order (kind and gauge of material)

Ability to read and understand calipers, micrometers, and/or tape measure to measure part dimensions and thickness

High School diploma or GED
-
Intermittent standing, walking, and unassisted lifting to 40 lbs.
