Location: Plymouth, MN
Pay: $33.88-$46.76 an hour, depending on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (hours of the shift are flexible)

About this Opportunity:
Maintenance Technicians work within a facility management organization that provides a variety of operation and maintenance services within a 24/7/365 environment that includes clean room manufacturing and office space. Under the supervision of the Facilities and Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, equipment repairs/modifications, and general labor. The Maintenance Technician ensures ProMed’s brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
•Use testing equipment such as power meters to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
•Inspect or maintain all life safety equipment, including exit signs, emergency lighting, eye wash stations, AED’s, fire extinguishers and fire protection systems.
•Use hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance ranging from a complete overhaul to replacing defective components that meet the manufacturer’s specifications.
•Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance duties on production equipment.
•Troubleshooting and repair of down equipment
•Must be available for on-call as needed and/or scheduled
•Hazardous Waste handling
•Participates in project planning.
•The employee is expected to develop acceptable work habits, skills, knowledge, and contributions consistent with the Maintenance position level.
•This job also requires performing other duties as assigned.
What makes you a great fit:
•High School Diploma or approved GED
•2 year technical degree plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience demonstrating a high mechanical aptitude or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in applicable field.
•Must have a working knowledge of the following skills: use of hand and power tools, plumbing/pipefitting, electrical work, carpentry work, blueprint reading, mathematics, and facility equipment operation.
•Self-starter with a proven ability to successfully work with minimal supervision
•Experience replacing HVAC components such as compressors, coils, controls, and heat exchangers.
•Demonstrated expertise performing electro\mechanical\fluidic circuit troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and equipment modification.
•Must be able to work in a collaborative / safety conscious environment. “Safety First”
•Must hold a valid state driver’s license.
