Now Hiring:  Transportation Specialist

Location: Shakopee, MN

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay: $21.00-28.00 per hour, depending on experience, paid weekly!

Employment Type: Full time, trial to hire!

About this Opportunity:

We are partnering with a manufacturing and distribution company that operates across several product divisions, including Agronomics, Animal Health and home, Lawn and Garden, Roofing Systems, and Vehicle Products.

In this position, you will coordinate and optimize the movement of goods to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant product delivery to distributors and customers.

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments.

  • Manage carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet delivery deadlines

  • Resolve delivery issues and maintain shipment records.

  • Support continuous improvement in transportation operations.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Minimum 2 years of College, Trade School, Business School, or equivalent in transportation, logistics, and/or traffic.

  • Must have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, and PC skills.
