Location: Lino Lakes, MN
Pay: $85,000-$105,000 per year, depending on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm

About this Opportunity:
The Scheduler/Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to meet customer requirements, maximize efficiency, and ensure timely delivery. This role involves managing job priorities, tracking work orders, and collaborating with various departments to align production activities with capacity, material availability, and quality standards.
We are specifically looking for a person with Sub-Contract manufacturing experience (scheduling CNC machines and manufacturing processes).
Our internal manufacturing processes are: Milling, Mill-Turn, Swiss, EDM Sinker, EDM Wire, Centerless Grinding, Deburring, Lasermarking, Inspection etc.
The candidate should have a good understanding of outside services (Passivation, Ti Polish, Plating, Heat Treating, Anodize, Coatings, etc).
What You’ll Be Doing:
•Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, capacity, and lead times.
•Prioritize jobs to optimize machine utilization and minimize downtime.
•Manage and schedule various types of work streams, including on-demand, expedited, prototype, and production jobs, to ensure efficient workflow and meet diverse operational needs.
•Prioritize high-impact orders based on business objectives and customer commitments.
•Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand, machine availability, or unforeseen delays.
•Ensure on-time delivery by monitoring job progress and addressing bottlenecks.
•Develop and execute daily production meetings
What makes you a great fit:
•Experience in production scheduling, planning, or a similar role in a sub contract manufacturing environment (preferably in a machine shop or medical device manufacturing).
•Strong understanding of internal manufacturing processes, lead times, and capacity planning:Swiss, Milling (Including 5 axis), Mill-Turn, EDM, Deburring, Lasermarking, Centerless Grinding, Inspection
•Greater knowledge of external processes and services, lead times, and planning: Passivation Ti Polish, Electropolish, Coatings, Anodize, Heat Treat, Plating
•Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and scheduling software.
•Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
•Strong communication and coordination abilities.
