Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday - Friday

About this Opportunity:
Atlas Staffing has partnered with a local Residential Roofing, Gutters, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Siding Installation Company.
Our client is looking for a shop helper to join their team to ensure quality, order accuracy and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate would have previous warehouse experience or knowledge and expertise with the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Assist fabricators and welders with cutting, grinding, and assembling metal components

Operate basic shop tools and equipment such as grinders, drills, and press break

Load, unload, and transport materials within the shop

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored

Assist with quality control by inspecting parts and finished products for accuracy

Picking and packing customer orders accurately
What makes you a great fit:

Previous experience in a shop or fabrication environment is a plus, but not required

Ability to operate basic hand and power tools

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical labor in a manufacturing setting

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Knowledge of metalworking, welding, or fabrication processes is a bonus

Load trucks with propane or battery operated forklift or pallet Jack
