About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing to drive the strategy and growth of a respected industry leader. In this high-impact role, you will oversee all customer-facing elements of the organization, including Sales, Customer Service, and Sales Engineering. What You’ll Be Doing:

Sales & Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies that drive business growth.

Customer Service Leadership: Manage and set clear objectives and goals for the Customer Service Department, ensuring excellent customer experiences.

Demand Generation: Identify new market opportunities, determine product demand, and find potential customers to expand the company’s reach.

Pricing Policies: Develop competitive pricing strategies to maximize profitability and ensure market competitiveness.

Process Improvement: Streamline departmental processes to improve efficiency and performance across the board.

Sales Coordination: Schedule and coordinate sales visits to maximize client engagement and retention.

Travel & Networking: Engage in out-of-state travel and attend key trade shows and conventions to build relationships and grow the business.

Sales Literature: Create and maintain compelling sales literature and marketing materials.

Web & Digital Presence: Oversee the company website, ensuring it aligns with marketing strategies and strengthens the brand.

Data Analysis: Analyze sales statistics to identify trends, customer preferences, and areas of opportunity for growth.
What Makes You a Great Fit:

Leadership Experience: Proven managerial experience, with at least 5+ years of in-house and external sales management.

Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of marketing, sales strategies, and the rubber industry.

Strong Communicator: Excellent written and oral communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.

Sales Expertise: Strong skills in negotiation and salesmanship with a track record of closing deals.

Team Management: Experience in coaching and delegating duties, particularly in managing customer service supervisors.

Analytical Thinker: Ability to analyze data, track sales potential, and adjust strategies based on performance metrics.
Physical Requirements:

Standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
