Location: Rogers, MN
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on years of experience (mid-level 2-10 years) (senior-level 10-15 years)
Shift: Staff currently work an 8.5 hour shift between the hours of 6AM-6PM, shift will eventually split into 2 shifts - 1st and 2nd
Employment Type: Full time, direct hire
About this Opportunity:
We're hiring mid-level and senior-level Machine Operators to join a growing team for a manufacturing plant in Rogers, MN.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Prepare machines for production by following standard operating procedures (SOPs), including calibration and configuration.
Feed raw materials or parts into the machine as required.
Monitor machine functions and adjust settings and parameters to maintain optimal production efficiency and quality.
Operate machinery according to safety guidelines and company standards.
Train other new staff members as needed.
Regularly inspect output to identify and address any defects or inconsistencies.
Ensure products meet quality standards by monitoring gauges and performing necessary checks.
Identify and segregate scrap or non-conforming materials.
Ensure compliance and safety in all operations
Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of machinery.
Identify and troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.
Change out “wear parts” as needed. Replace parts with support from the OEMs.
Report any major equipment issues to maintenance personnel.
Maintain production logs and records of machine operation.
Document any quality issues or machine malfunctions.
What makes you a great fit:
2+ years of experience in machine operation within a manufacturing environment
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic machine operations
Attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and safety procedures
Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
Hands on ability to troubleshoot issues including changing parts etc. as needed
Physical ability to lift and handle materials as needed
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
