Location: Saint Paul, MN

Shift: 12:30pm-9:00pm, Monday - Friday

Pay: $18.00/hr

Employment Type: Full time, trial to hire!

About this Opportunity:

Atlas Staffing has partnered with a client to fill a Janitorial/Cleaning Technician position! Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join their cleaning team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across the facility by using cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaning machines, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces. You will also be required to use various chemicals and latex gloves to ensure the work area is clean and safe. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in janitorial or cleaning work, but all interested candidates are encouraged to apply!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Use carpet cleaning machines to clean carpets and upholstery

• Sweep, mop, and clean floors in designated areas

• Wipe down glass surfaces, windows, and other high-traffic areas

• Apply cleaning chemicals and solutions according to safety standards

• Follow proper procedures when using latex gloves and cleaning chemicals

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Ensure all areas are sanitized, safe, and free of hazards

• Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned
  

What makes you a great fit:

• At least 2 years of experience in janitorial, cleaning, or facility maintenance

• Ability to operate cleaning machines and equipment (e.g., carpet cleaners, vacuums)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols

• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and wearing protective gloves

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Willingness to take on new tasks as needed

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds consistently

• Ability to bend, reach, and stand for long periods of time

• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals in a safe manner

• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions (may be exposed to heat, cold, or humidity)

• Willingness to perform manual cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping
