Now Hiring: Lead Quality Technician
Location: Blaine, MN 55449
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time, trial to hire!
About this Opportunity:
As a Lead Quality Technician, you’ll work closely with set-up technicians, lead operators, and press operators to ensure all customer requirements are met or exceeded. You will perform in-process visual and dimensional inspections throughout the day, including hourly rounds at Injection Molding Machines.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufacturing projects
• Conduct hourly rounds at Injection Molding Machines to check parts
• Provide quality training and 90-day training for employees in injection molding departments
• Audit and organize quality inspections for the team
• Assist with tolling samples and maintain quality files for each product produced
• Perform first article inspections
• Escalate quality concerns to shift supervisor and Quality Manager
• Work with press operators to correct quality defects
• Update quality files and documents as required
What Makes You a Great Fit:
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or control drawings
• Able to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in parts
• Excellent attendance practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and neat
• Able to lift 15-20 lbs. regularly
• Able to stand, sit, walk, stoop, and bend throughout the day
• Must have reliable transportation
