Pay: $49,000-$54,000 per year, depending on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm, hours vary depending on travel

We service electronic monitoring systems (Battery Monitoring Systems) for backup battery systems in critical power applications like data centers and power substations for the utilities.
We’re looking to hire a Level 1 Field Service Technician. This position involves frequent travel within the U.S. and Canada with the primary job site in Phoenix, AZ. Opportunities for Growth: This position represents the first milestone in our apprenticeship program which offers 4 levels.
What you will be doing:
Installation (physical wiring) of various battery monitoring systems in data centers, utilities, and transit authorities: Unboxing and preparation of equipment, Mounting of equipment (inside a cabinet or flush mounted against a wall in the battery room), Wiring - routing, stripping and terminating wires, Connections - Connecting wires to the battery strings per wiring schematic.
Maintenance for existing systems in various battery monitoring systems in data centers, utilities, and transit authorities: Connect and communicate with the equipment using a laptop and proprietary software from the manufacturer (Alber), Programming and setup of the system, Calibration of the system, Function testing and generating reports. Troubleshooting and repair of various battery monitoring systems.
Remote Services including troubleshooting and diagnosis as well as analysis and reporting. Manage internal and external communications via email and work cellphone. Manage work related tasks assigned in Podio.
What makes you a great fit:
To have a competent understanding of computer file storage and at least 2 years of experience using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft One Drive, Microsoft SharePoint as well as various proprietary computer software systems
A basic understanding of electrical wiring and electricity in general is preferred
A valid U.S. Driver’s License
