Pay: $70,000+ annual salary, based on experience level
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
Job Description: The Master Maintenance Electrician will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs of electrical equipment; install and control electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems within the manufacturing facility, and has a good understanding of safety procedures and policies.
Level of Authority:
Maintain and repair electrical wiring.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
•Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
•Install and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures
•Use hand and power tools
•Inspect electrical systems and components
•Train new employees
•Identify and test electrical components
•Work safely with electricity up to and including 480VAC. Responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing electrical components including large motors.
•Develop and describe new Electrical Controls ideas/recommendations.
•Review blueprints, electrical schematics, and PLC Ladder Logic and offer recommendations for changes, if required.
•Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Completed Electrical Apprenticeship program
•Completed Master Electrician qualification or ability to obtain when hired
Qualifications:
•Electrician license or certification
•In-depth knowledge of electrical principles, construction, wiring schematics
•Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other safety standards
•Strong analytical and organizational skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working Conditions:
The majority of the time is spent in a manufacturing plant environment. Work will be performed indoors. The manufacturing plant will have normal lighting, may not always be temperature controlled. Additionally, the site will have moderate to loud noises.
