Location: Maple Grove, MN
Pay: $18.00+ per hour, paid weekly
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am-4:30 pm and Fridays 7:00 am-11:00 am
Job Description:
The Punch Press Set Up Operator is responsible for setting up and taking down punch presses. Consistently setup all presses and accessory equipment ensuring optimal productivity and an acceptable time that meets customer quality specifications
The operator is also responsible for configuring and operating electrically powered presses to cut, shape, and form metal, plastic, or other materials used in manufacturing operations. Performs operations such as blanking, bending, punching, and forming based on blueprints and other instructions.
Requirements:

Ability to follow documented processes and standards

Must be able to read blueprints

Must be able to use math and handheld measuring tools- manual caliper and micrometer

Strong written and verbal English Skills

Two plus years in a Machine Shop/Manufacturing Setting
