Accountant

Calling all numbers people!! This is an exciting opportunity

Are you the type of person that thrives by successfully managing company's finances and accounts? Do you consider yourself someone extremely independent with their job and able to work autonomously?

American Workforce Group is looking for a experienced accountant to join the accounting department for a local and professional manufacturing company in the Vancouver area. This person will be highly motivated, task orientated with a quick learning ability and willingness to jump in when needed.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize general ledger, including monthly financial statements, monitorization of cash flow and petty cash, complete Washington B&O report, etc.

Daily, weekly, monthly management of both accounts payable and receivable.

Payroll duties such as preparation, record keeping, monitoring vacation and sick time totals, garnishments, filing.

Willingness to jump into some HR duties as needed

Requirements:

2-5 years accounting experience

Strong knowledge of ASA Software - Sage 500

Familiarity with Construction/Schedule of Value billing

Able to work autonomously after trained

Details:

Monday - Friday

$70k - $80k yearly
