We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer in the construction industry. As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various construction projects and ensuring that they run smoothly from start to finish. You will be expected to perform physical labor, which may involve lifting heavy materials, digging, and assisting skilled tradespeople. Responsibilities:
- Assist in various construction tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks or storage areas.
- Help with the setup and cleanup of the job site before and after construction activities.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople in their tasks, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
- Perform general maintenance tasks and keep the work area organized and free from hazards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a construction or labor role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines on the job site.
