We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide crucial administrative support, manage data entry tasks, and assist with various office operations. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting with customer inquiries, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the company. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry. 

  • Answer phones and take detailed messages. 

  • Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital. 

  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including data entry into QuickBooks. 

  • Create and schedule social media posts on platforms like Facebook, and create and maintain other advertising posts on various platforms. 

  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including but not limited to answering phones, responding to emails, and assisting visitors. 

  • Provide support for various projects, ensuring timely completion and attention to detail. 

  • Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

 Requirements 

  • Proven experience in data entry and administrative support roles. 

  • 5+ years of experience using QuickBooks. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Solid technology skills and comfort working with various software. 

  • Experience with creating and maintaining social media content. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to take on new challenges. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

 

Job Type: Part-time; either 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
