We are seeking a motivated and reliable temporary Laborer to assist with the installation of underground fiber optic cable. The position involves physical labor and working in a variety of outdoor environments. This role supports the crew in safely and efficiently installing underground infrastructure to expand and maintain fiber optic networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with trenching, digging, and backfilling using hand tools and/or equipment
  • Handle and prepare fiber optic conduit, ducts, and cables for installation
  • Operate or assist with basic equipment such as trenchers, cable pullers, or vibratory plows
  • Perform site cleanup and restoration after installations
  • Load and unload materials and equipment
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
  • Maintain tools and equipment in clean, safe working condition
  • Support crew members in various duties as directed by the supervisor
  • Ensure the worksite is compliant with local, state, and company safety regulations
  • Perform other general labor duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in construction or utility work is a plus
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to work extended hours
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions

Job Type: Temporary, 3 days a week, 10-hour shifts
