We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Log Home Construction Laborer and Cleanup. As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting skilled carpenters and construction teams in building beautiful, sustainable log homes. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks related to the assembly, installation, and finishing processes of log homes, ensuring that everything is completed to the highest quality standards. Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, which is essential for the safety and efficiency of the job site. Responsibilities:
Assist skilled workers in the construction of log homes by carrying materials and tools as needed.
Prepare job sites by clearing debris and ensuring a clean workspace is maintained.
Measure and cut materials according to specified dimensions and requirements.
Help assemble log structures by holding, securing, and installing components as directed.
Perform cleanup tasks following construction activities to maintain safety and organization on the job site.
Load and unload materials and equipment, ensuring they are transported safely and efficiently.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in construction or labor-related work is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and construction methods.
Background check and drug screen required upon offer of employment.
Job Type: Monday-Friday, overtime and weekends as needed
