Customer Service Representative/Delivery Driver needed to meet customer needs by presenting professional knowledge of all medical equipment, inventory, and systems. Prompt and safe delivery of merchandise from retail store to customers as required.
Duties:
- Greet customers and answer phone calls in a friendly, professional manner.
- Knowledge of all equipment and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and purchase replacements when appropriate.
- Follow protocol when receiving shipments and maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Responsible for accurately loading all patient information into the system, and generating delivery paperwork for sales, rental, and service orders.
- Develop and maintain a strong working understanding of the specific requirements of contracted providers.
- Complete additional duties as required and work in an environment that is changing to meet the needs of our customers.
- Unpacks incoming merchandise, marks prices on articles, and stacks them on counters and shelves.
- Sweeps/vacuums floors, run errands, and waits on customers.
- Drives light truck/van to deliver orders.
- Deliver and set up equipment and supplies efficiently and provide instructions to clients as appropriate.
- Pick up equipment promptly.
- Assist in inventory control.
- Responsible for the safe operation and routine care of company vehicles.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Customer experience, health experience preferred.
- Medical billing experience preferred.
- Inventory experience and working with a multitude of office equipment.
- Knowledge of database software, order processing systems, spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Current MT driver’s license.
- Able to regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit or stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Able to be frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Background check and drug screen required upon offer of employment.
Job Type: PT, 2 days a week, preferably Tuesdays & Thursdays
Wage: $15/hr.
