We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable CDL Truck Driver with a proven safety record and equipment operation experience to join a reputable construction team. As a CDL Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in the transportation of materials and equipment to and from construction sites as well as the opportunity to operate equipment onsite. Your expertise and efficiency will directly impact the success of projects and contribute to the overall productivity of the team. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate trucks to transport construction materials and equipment to and from job sites.
- Ensure the proper loading, securing, and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure its safe operation.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of materials and equipment.
- All other job duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent driving skills and the ability to navigate through different terrains and weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations.
- Previous experience operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions accurately.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
- Background check and drug screen required upon offer of employment.
