1 Resource Group Staffing has an immediate need for an experienced Turnover/ Handover Coordinator in Austin, TX for long term contract needs with the possibility to roll over directly with the client. 

The primary role of the Turnover Coordinator is for the implementation and execution of system turnover systems and packages in accordance with clients’ processes and procedure. 


• The Project Turnover Coordinator executes the Project Turnover process, which can be for either Construction to Startup, as well as Startup to the Client under the direction and supervision of the Sr. Turnover Manager, or the Startup Manager to ensure that system turnovers are issued per the project contract and schedule 

• The position is responsible for coordination completion of system turnover packages from construction and acceptance by Startup and Commissioning, and then to final turnover to client as required by contract

 • Will develop, prepare, and maintain System Turnover Package(s), both Construction, and Startup Turnover packages as required per project contract 

• Work with Construction QA/QC Supervisor in support of Construction System Turnover Packages 

• Prepared and distribution all required documentation used for systems walkdowns, both Construction and Startup walkdowns

 • Coordinate and schedule system walkdowns with Construction, Startup, and the Client

 • Upon completion of the system walkdown, hold post walkdown meetings to review and prioritize all punch list deficiencies an prepare and distribute the system punch list to all stakeholders 

• Work with the Startup Manager in support of completing the Startup Turnover packages prior to submittal to Client • Shift work as required to support the Project schedule

 • Input, and manage the project punch list database and coordinate the completion activities for all noted deficiencies

 • Review/interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other design documents • Ensuring each turnover package is compliance with Client and company policies, procedures and standards and correct as required

 • Providing weekly and monthly reports detailing the status of system completions and punch list status 

• Other responsibilities as required


: • Minimum of three (3) years of site turnover experience with progressive responsibility on new project builds such as Production, Commercial, Construction, Industrial or similar projects  • Prefer working knowledge of construction, testing, commissioning, and start up methods in a specific discipline or multiple disciplines

 • Previous experience as Turnover Coordinator or similar position is a must

• Experience in both new construction and revamp work preferred



  • Preferred B.S. in Engineering, but not required with equal experience. 3+ years Turnover coordinator experience new construction/ commissioning. Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized with a strong attention to detail. High level of professionalism and strong sense of urgency. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficiency in Bluebeam, Aconex, PlanGrid, and MS Project preferred. Ability to work with minimal guidance; Proactive, motivated self-starter.
