Currently, we are in search of a Director of Engineering to join our dynamic team.
Overview:
Our client is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead innovation and execution within the power distribution and motion control space. This role requires a strategic, forward-thinking leader with a strong engineering foundation and a passion for shaping the future of automation. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term technical strategies for customizable power distribution and motion control products.
Team Development: Lead and mentor engineering teams and project managers, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Project Ownership: Manage the complete product development lifecycle — from concept to production — ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Technical Oversight: Stay engaged with core technologies, including PLCs, servo systems, and advanced automation tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Operations to ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure engineering activities comply with NEC, UL508A, and other applicable standards and regulations.
Process Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and product innovation.
Executive Communication: Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization — from technical teams to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
Proven expertise in electrical controls design, industrial automation, and circuit integration
Proficient in AutoCAD, Eplan, and PLC programming
Demonstrated success leading high-performance, multidisciplinary engineering teams
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
