To be responsible for managing all purchasing activities, including researching and evaluating suppliers,
setting up new suppliers on the ERP system and raising purchase orders. The ideal candidate will have a
strong understanding of purchasing procedures and regulations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability
to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Please note: In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may
reasonably be required. Attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safety will be essential in
maintaining high-quality masterbatch production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Maintain records of all purchased items.
? Process purchase orders.
? Negotiate with vendors to get the best price for products and services.
? Ensure that all purchasing documents are accurate and complete.
? Monitor stock levels and reorder when necessary.
? Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
? Analyse market trends to determine the best time to purchase goods and services.
? Booking in of GRV’s
? Any other ad hoc reasonable duties and responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
? Procurement: 2 years (Preferred)
? Purchasing: 3 years (Required)
? Previous experience in a similar manufacturing position desirable but not essential
? Self-starter, enthusiastic and proactive
? Good communication skills
? Ability to work independently whilst also part of a wider team
Pay $19-24 DOE
