1 Resource Group is looking for a Human Resources Assistant/Payroll Administrator.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department, with a primary focus on payroll processing.
This role will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution, as well as supporting various HR functions.
Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing
Process bi-weekly payroll using Paylocity software.
Ensure accurate calculation and disbursement of wages, taxes, and deductions.
Maintain payroll records and reports in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Manage employee time and attendance tracking systems.
Onboarding:
Coordinate new hire paperwork and onboarding processes.
Conduct pre-employment screenings, including drug tests and MVR checks.
Assist in employee orientation and benefits enrollment.
HR Administration:
Maintain employee personnel files and records.
Update employee information and status changes in HR systems.
Assist with benefits administration for over 80 employees.
Prepare and distribute employee communications and documents.
General HR Support:
Provide administrative support to the HR department on various projects and initiatives.
Assist with employee relations and conflict resolution.
Answer employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
Proficiency in Paylocity software or other payroll systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.
