CDL B Driver

1 Resource Group is seeking a CDL Vacuum Truck Driver to join our clients project team in Lima, Ohio . Travelers encouraged to apply!

These are direct hire positions with per diem is over 100 miles from the project site!

 As a CDL Vacuum Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a vacuum truck to remove liquids, sludges, and solids from tanks, vessels, and other equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a vacuum truck to safely and efficiently remove materials from tanks, vessels, and other equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
• Perform inspections and maintenance tasks on the vacuum truck to ensure proper functioning.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL class B with tanker endorsement.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL Vacuum Truck Driver.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck in an industrial setting.
• TWIC, Basic plus and clean background and MVR required
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy objects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications
