1 Resource Group is hiring for Finishing Clerk for our client that is located on the Northwest side of Houston!
Position Summary
This position involves performing production work using lathe and chop saw and table saw equipment. Ensure piece machine to customer requirement size.
General Duties
• Promote safe work practices and demonstrate a zero tolerance for non-compliance with safe work practices, policies and regulations.
• Engine lathe experience (Manual)
• Knowledge of power tools such as table saw, planer, chop saw.
• Preform visual and dimensional measurement
• Identify Non-Conforming material and report to QC.
• Liaison with other departments.
• Positively contribute to team efforts.
• Assist in the organization and housekeeping of finishing department
• Recording processing data accurately
• Follow Quality policy and related procedures
• Participate on continuous improvements teams (Supervisor Only)
• Use measuring tools such as caliper
Required Education and Experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in machine shop. Supervisor require to have min of 4 years of experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environment, compression molding experience preferred
• ERP experience a plus.
• Ability to communicate with other departments.
• Be able to read and write English
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and withstand repetitive motion.
