1 Resource Group is hiring for a Compounding (mixing) Technician for our client that is located on the Northwest side of Houston.
Position Summary
Responsible for accurate weighing, batching and mixing of single and multiple ingredient formulas, cleaning and sanitization of machinery. Position incudes operating a variety of industrial mixers and scales, Screen/sieve, mills and other material processing equipment.
General Duties
• Follow and promote safe work practices and demonstrate a zero tolerance for non-compliance of safety policies and regulations
• Pulling, weighing, batching and sampling of a wide variety of bulk powders and products.
• Use of various types of scales for weighing.
• Loading and operation of blender, shaker/sieve, mill and other process equipment.
• Cleaning of blending machines.
• Handling and lifting of bulk drums up to 50lb throughout each day.
• Calculate quantities and gross and net weights.
• Work with multiple orders per day with extreme care to detail and accuracy.
• Keeping your department and work area clean
Required Education and Experience
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with scales and blenders. Experience with batch weighing.
• Ability to safely drive and operate Forklift – certification preferred
• Must be able to speak, read and write English
• Able to work occasional shift work and overtime when required
