1 Resource Group is actively seeking a talented Equipment Painter to join our dynamic team. This is a contact, possibly a contract to hire position for the right candidate.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing various types of construction and heavy equipment to ensure they are visually appealing and protective against the elements. Your attention to detail and expertise in the painting process will play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
Apply paint and finishing materials to equipment using various techniques and tools.
Mix and match paint colors to ensure the precise shade required.
Inspect painted equipment for quality assurance and make touch-ups as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule painting tasks according to equipment downtime.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in industrial painting, preferably with heavy equipment.
Strong understanding of painting techniques and equipment.
Ability to mix and match paint colors accurately.
Familiarity with safety protocols and the use of PPE.
Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license is preferred.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
